Pollonia, a fishermen village

Pollonia is a colorful fishermen village on the NE part of the island which attracts many visitors. It is the second port of the island and main transit point to the island of Kimolos, yet really peaceful and an excellent choice to spend your vacation.

The small gulf of Pollonia has a big sandy beach covered with Tamarix trees which offer their soothing shadow to summer swimmers. Other smaller, cute beaches are in a walking distance from the center.

Pollonia is also worth visiting for its very good tavernas and restaurants by the sea. You will also find coffee shops, bakery, super-market and rental agencies.
